How much do dental implants cost in Rotherham?
A single dental implant at Fitzwilliam Dental starts from £2,750. What yours comes to depends on how many teeth are being replaced and what has to happen first, and you see the figure in writing before anything starts.

What the price depends on
Prices differ from one practice to the next and from one mouth to the next, and we cannot speak for anyone else's. What we can do is show you what ours depends on. Where the table above says on request, the figure is set in your written plan after an assessment. It does not mean the treatment is free.
How many teeth
One implant for one gap is the simplest case. A bridge or denture carried on implants can use fewer implants than the teeth it replaces, and that moves the total a great deal.
What sits on top
The implant is the root. A crown, bridge or denture is fitted on the connector above it, and which one you need is part of the plan, so check whether a quote includes it.
What comes first
Gum disease has to be treated before anything is placed, and some people need an extraction or a bone graft first. Grafting is not always needed. If it is, it is quoted before treatment starts.
Scans and planning
Imaging shows how much bone is there, and the plan is built on it. Ask whether the scan is part of the assessment or charged separately.
Ask this of any implant quote
A total on its own tells you very little. Two figures can describe different amounts of work, which is why the questions below are worth putting to every practice, including us.
- What does the price cover: the implant, the connector, and the crown, bridge or denture on top?
- Are the scans and the assessment included, or charged separately?
- If an extraction or a bone graft is needed first, what does it cost, and is it quoted before treatment starts?
- If an implant does not bond, what would be done and what would it cost? Ask for the answer in writing.
- What do the check-ups and maintenance afterwards involve, and do they cost anything?
- Are the alternatives, a bridge or a denture, priced in the same plan, so you can compare them like for like?
Paying for it
Payment plans are available for larger treatment plans, subject to status and to the lender's terms. The full terms, and who the credit is with, are set out on the finance page rather than here.
Every fee we publish is on the fees page, so you can see what the rest of your care costs before you decide on the implant.

Questions about the cost
Why quotes differ, paying over time, grafting and what comes after.
Why do two quotes for the same gap look so different?
Usually because they are not quotes for the same thing. One may cover only the implant itself, another the implant, the connector and the tooth on top, and another may leave scans or preparation work to be charged later.
Ask each practice what its figure covers, item by item, and compare those lists before you compare the totals.
Can I pay for implant treatment over time?
Payment plans are available for larger treatment plans, subject to status and to the lender's terms. The practice does not lend money itself. It introduces patients to a lender, which decides whether to lend, and that decision involves a credit check.
The finance options page sets out how it works, and it is worth reading before you decide anything.
Will a bone graft add to the cost?
It can, but not everyone needs one. If you do, it is quoted before treatment starts.
A graft is needed when there is not enough bone to hold the implant, and the imaging at the assessment is what shows that.
Is an implant cheaper than a bridge or a denture?
That cannot be answered fairly without your plan in front of you. The options are priced differently, and what each one costs over the years depends on how long it lasts in your mouth, which nobody can promise in advance.
Ask for the options to be set out side by side in the same written plan, each with what it costs, and compare them like for like.
Is there a cost after the implant is fitted?
An implant does not decay, but the gum and bone around it still need looking after, so cleaning, hygiene visits and regular check-ups matter more with an implant than without one.
Ask what your plan includes for aftercare, and see the fees page for what the practice charges for hygiene and examinations.
See the plan and the cost before you commit
You do not have to commit to treatment to come in. Book the assessment, ask everything, and leave with the options written down and priced.
