What we are actually like.
Not a list of superlatives. The practical things that decide whether a dental practice suits you.
The bit that matters most
Every practice website says its team is friendly and its technology is modern. What actually differs between practices is whether you leave understanding what is going on in your own mouth.
That is the thing to judge us on. You should be able to say, after an appointment, what was found, what your options are, what each one involves and what happens if you do nothing for now. If you cannot, ask, and keep asking until you can.
It is your mouth and your money, and neither of those is improved by politely nodding along to a plan you do not follow.
What that looks like in practice
The practice itself
- Caring for local families for over 70 years
- General, cosmetic, straightening, implant and facial care under one roof
- Family-run, and independent
What an appointment is like
- Nervous patients genuinely welcome
- Child friendly, from the very first visit
- A relaxed, calm environment
- Your options explained clearly before anything begins
How we work
- A digital scanner instead of impression trays
- Digital radiographs for accurate diagnosis and planning
Getting seen
- Late appointments available
- Free parking
- NHS and private care available
- Step-free ground floor access
If parking, access, a late appointment or NHS availability is what decides your visit, ring and check it with us before you travel. Call 01709 872292
Four questions worth asking any dentist
None of these are awkward. They are the ones a good dentist expects, and they work just as well on us as on anyone else you are considering.
-
What happens if I leave this for six months?
-
Is there a cheaper option, and what is the trade-off?
-
How much of my own tooth does this cost me?
-
What is the alternative, and why are you recommending this one?
Getting here and getting seen
The practice is at 2 Fitzwilliam Street, Wath upon Dearne, S63 7HF. Opening hours and directions are on the contact page, along with a map.
For anything urgent, ring rather than emailing or filling in a form. Time is kept free each day for urgent problems, and a phone call is much faster than anything on this website.
Come and see for yourself
Send an enquiry and reception will ring you back, or call the practice during opening hours.
