Our practice is in Wath upon Dearne, roughly fifteen minutes from Barnsley, and a good number of our patients travel from there.
One practice, not a chain
To be clear about it: there is no Barnsley surgery. Fitzwilliam Dental is a single family-run practice at 2 Fitzwilliam Street, Wath upon Dearne, and everyone we look after is seen there.
We mention Barnsley because a lot of people search that way, and because the journey is short enough that plenty of Barnsley patients decide it is worth it. If you would rather be seen closer to home, that is an entirely reasonable thing to want, and we would say so.
What you get for the drive is a practice where appointments are not rushed, where costs are written down before treatment starts, and where the same dentists see you each time.

Ask about combining visits
If you need several things doing, say that you are travelling. It is often possible to arrange treatment so you make fewer trips.
Urgent problems need a phone call
Do not set off without ringing first. We will tell you honestly whether we can see you today, and if we cannot, where to try instead.
